Pascal Giroutru is a certified guide, mountain hiking guide and Nordic ski instructor.
For more than 30 years, he has supervised very varied groups, from children to the group of friends, including clubs or associations. He knows the Vercors and the Diois and practices them in all seasons. For a unique experience, there are original circuits adapted to your desires, your capacities. He likes to make people discover his natural "secrets", great panoramas, wild trails, forgotten villages, various activities. Discover a few outings below.

Hiking outing
1 day (6 to 7h)
Discover the "unknown" steps of the Vercors High Plateaux or Diois. Take original routes. Immerse yourself in the largest nature reserve in France.
Where: From Die, the Col de Rousset, Châtillon en Diois etc.
When: From mid-April to the end of October. Departure 8:30 a.m., 6 to 7 a.m. walk, 800m drop on average.
For whom: Walkers from 12 years old. From 5 to 15 people. Accompaniment, itinerary management according to the group, their desires and their abilities.
Not included: Picnic, good shoes and above all water (2L/pers).

Summer bivouac hiking
2 days/1 night
Live a unique moment between discovering the fabulous landscapes of Diois-Vercors and total disconnection from everyday life. Pitch your tent or sleep under the stars. Share a convivial evening.
Where: From Die, the Col de Rousset, Châtillon en Diois etc. Departure 8:30 a.m., return the next day at 5 p.m. 6 hours of walking minimum per day, 600m drop on average.
When: From mid-April to the end of September.
For whom: Walkers from 14 years old. From 5 to 8 people. Itinerary adapted to the group, their desires and their abilities.
Included: . Evening meal and breakfast, mattresses, tents, crockery and cooking equipment. Accompaniment, itinerary and equipment management.
Not included: Duvet, picnic day 1 and day 2. Good shoes, water bottle (2L).

Go and discover a village, a region, a particular fauna, make cultural visits. Let yourself be surprised by the sumptuous panoramas offered by the cliffs of Glandasse, by the Drôme river.
Where: From Die, the Col de Rousset, Châtillon en Diois, St Julien en Quint. 3h to 4h walk, average elevation 400m. Multiple loops possible.
When: From mid-April to the end of October.
For whom: For everyone from 7 years old. From 4 to 10 people. Itinerary adapted to the group, their desires and their abilities.

Nordic ski touring outing

A huge nordic landscape for total immersion in the wilderness!
Where: Vercors High Plateaux, Font d’Urle, Ambel, Vallon de Combeau. Several starting points possible.
When: From mid-December to mid-April depending on the snow cover.
For whom: Skiers from 14 years old. 12 people max. Initiation, teaching, improvement of the "Nordic ski touring" activity. Route management.
Not included: Equipment rental (partner contact). Picnic.

Winter bivouac hiking
2 days/1 night (24h)
Live a unique experience in the mountains.
Move on the snow. Participate in setting up the bivouac.
Spend a night in a trapper’s tent with the warmth of the wood stove.
Where: Vercors High Plateaux, Font d’Urle, Ambel, Vallon de Combeau. Several starting points possible.
When: From mid-December to mid-April depending on the snow cover.
Departure 1 p.m., return 1 p.m. the next day.
For whom: From 14 years old. In Nordic skiing or snowshoeing, equipment to be defined for the whole group. From 4 to 7 people.
Included: Evening meal and breakfast, crockery and cooking equipment, tepee trapper tent with wood stove, inflatable mattresses. Transport of equipment by pulka (towed sled). Itinerary management adapted to the group.
Not included: Ski or snowshoe rental (partner contact). Sleeping material (duvet), warm and comfortable clothes.

Learn telemark
from 1h to 3h
It is an unusual style of sliding combining strength and lightness. "Free heels, free spirit" is the adage of telemarkers. New sensations guaranteed!
Where: Col de Rousset station.
When: From January to March depending on the snow cover.
Group: Skiers from 15 years old. From 1 to 4 people. Teaching, initiation or improvement.
Not included: Equipment rental possible from the Vercors Télémark association. We take care of it, specify your shoe size and your size.
